Here in the beautiful Arizona desert, outdoor enthusiasts often find themselves with ATVs, UTVs, and side-by-sides that have seen their fair share of adventures. Many of these vehicles come from families who’ve cherished weekends riding through the stunning landscapes or tackling rugged terrains. However, as life evolves, these machines may sit idle, waiting for their next journey. At Desert Wheels, we invite you to donate these vehicles, ensuring they continue to bring joy to others while benefiting local communities.
Your donation can make a lasting impact. Whether it's a Honda FourTrax from your ranch or a Polaris RZR used for hunting trips, every vehicle has a story to tell. We help facilitate a simple and rewarding donation process, allowing you to pass on the thrill of off-roading adventures to someone who truly appreciates it. Plus, you may qualify for tax deductions, making this an even more beneficial choice for you!

How pickup works
When donating your ATV, UTV, or side-by-side, our team at Desert Wheels ensures a seamless pickup experience. Typically, we use a trailer or small flatbed truck to accommodate the vehicle type. For off-road-only vehicles, titles may not be available, but we can work with an MSO (Manufacturer's Statement of Origin) and a bill-of-sale chain. We coordinate with you for a convenient pickup time and location, often aligning with farms, ranches, or hunting cabins where these vehicles are commonly found. In addition, utility trailers are also accepted, expanding your donation possibilities!
What drives donation value
The value of your donated ATV, UTV, or side-by-side hinges on several factors. For example, vehicles with more hours of use tend to hold their value better than those with high mileage. Polaris RZR and Can-Am UTVs often have strong resale values in the used market. A well-maintained vehicle with service records can command a higher donation value, while cosmetic issues such as dents and faded plastics may lower it slightly. Even non-running units retain some parts value, making your donation valuable regardless of its condition!
Documentation you need

Arizona specifics
In Arizona, off-road vehicles like ATVs and UTVs have specific rules regarding title and registration. Many off-road-only vehicles are not titled but can be donated with appropriate documentation like an MSO and bill of sale. This process is relatively straightforward, allowing donors to contribute to Desert Wheels without added bureaucratic hurdles. Understanding local DMV regulations can help ensure a smooth donation experience!
